The products sold by Picture Hang Solutions are offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance of the terms, conditions and notices contained herein. Installation and/or use of our products implies acceptance of all such terms, conditions and notices. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not purchase or use our products.

All of our products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Picture Hang Solutions' sole liability in this regard shall be to replace the defective product or refund its purchase price.

Picture Hang Solutions shall not be liable for any failure due to improper installation; product misuse, tampering or alteration; defective or nonconforming substrate material or if the product has been combined with any component not supplied by us. The entire risk as to the quality or performance of our products is with the buyer.

Picture Hang Solutions disclaims any written, oral or implied warranties and conditions of fitness for a particular purpose. Picture Hang Solutions does not warrant against damages arising out of the use of our products. No warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, is made regarding the safety of our products. Buyer assumes all risks and liability from the use of our products.

Best Practices and words of caution for Hanging Pictures

  • Be especially cautious and careful when hanging pictures over a bed, over expensive furniture, over electronic equipment, in a child's room (or a room where children play), in a bathroom, or in any location where a person could be injured or valuable property damaged should a picture fall.
  • Please read the online installation instructions and notes that we provide for the picture hanging hardware we sell and follow these instructions as closely as possible.
  • Respect hardware "Maximum Picture Weight Ratings" and understand that one-third to one-half the stated rating is the practical maximum. Do not exceed these guidelines under any circumstances.
  • Be aware that the condition and age of your walls and/or improper installation technique can greatly diminish the holding power of even the best picture hanging hardware.
  • When in doubt, use a heavier hanger, hook, wire, screw than you think you'll need.
  • Please allow yourself time to do the job right. Plan ahead. Don't rush.
  • Wear eye protection and take appropriate safety precautions when installing picture hanging hardware. Use a sturdy ladder when necessary--don't stand on chairs, furniture, etc.
  • Ask someone to help you if your picture hanging task becomes a struggle. A second pair of hands and eyes can make a big difference.
