Secure Socket Layer encryption is utilized by our shopping cart service to protect your credit card information. In practice this means that your card data is encrypted both when you send it to the shopping cart server at the time of ordering and also when we retrieve it. All sixteen credit card digits are stripped from the orders we receive, since they come to us via ordinary email. We capture the card number from the shopping cart server only through a secure connection. Our credit card terminal is a new Link Point AIO model. It supports address and card code verification for protection against fraud. It is compliant with recent Federal legislation concerning account number truncation so that the paper receipts we send back to you show only the last four digits of the credit card number charged for that transaction. We take our obligation to combat credit card fraud seriously. We screen transactions diligently for evidence of fraudulent activity. We do not store or file your credit card card information on our own computers. Transaction paper receipts are held in a secure location for a limited time only and then destroyed.
