Payment by Credit Card We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express credit cards. Debit cards that require a PIN to be used cannot be processed through our shopping cart or over the phone. For your own protection, we require that you to provide us with the Card Security Code (CVV2) when placing your order. This helps verify that the person placing the order has actual physical possession of the card. We process credit card payments on our own terminal during our normal business hours, not in "real time" through an online third-party. We run your credit card charge through only when your order is ready to ship, so charges will not appear on your credit card account immediately after you place an order with us. If we experience a problem processing your credit card payment we will contact you. This is done by email only. Orders cannot be shipped until payment is complete. We send two email notices to the email address submitted with your order. After five business days, orders with unresolved payment problems are canceled and a final email notification of this cancellation is sent.
Corporate Credit Cards Some companies, educational institutions and governmental agencies place restrictions on employee-issued credit cards (procurement cards) that exclude certain merchant categories. Such a card will be declined if it is presented to purchase an item from a vendor in an excluded merchant category. Our merchant category is "Hardware Equipment and Supplies."
Online Payment Through PayPal If you prefer not to provide your credit card information directly to us, we also accept online payment through PayPal. PayPal orders are not shipped until we verify that our PayPal account has received your payment. Please note that immediately after you submit an order to us with payment through PayPal you are automatically taken to PayPal's site. Be sure to complete the necessary steps there to finalize your payment. If you use PayPal's eCheck system for payment, we will have to hold your order for the 3-4 business days it takes for an electronic transfer to clear into our PayPal account.
Purchase Order Sorry, we cannot extend credit by accepting purchase orders for our products. We must have payment in full by credit card or cleared company check prior to shipment.
NC Sales Tax Exempt Customers If you represent a business or institution located in our home state of North Carolina that is exempt from NC State Sales Tax, please provide us with your employer's resale or tax-exempt number in the Special Instructions/Comments box on the shopping cart form to avoid being charged 6.75% NC Sales Tax.
