Specifications: Decorative Ring Hangers

Ring Hangers consist of a movable decorative ring-shaped section attached to a screw-threaded base. Also known as "swivel hangers," the ring section of these hangers only pivot front-to-back (they do not swivel 360° around the base screw).

These small decorative brass-plated hangers are most often used to suspend small picture frames or art objects either from a hook on the wall or from a cup hook or similar hook attached to the underside of a shelf, overhang or the like.

Decorative Ring Hangers are available in five different styles and sizes, brass-plated only.

Instructions: Decorative Ring Hangers

  1. Mark for exact center so that the object will be level when hung.
  2. Pre-drill or punch a pilot hole for the ring hanger screw.
  3. Be careful not to make the pilot hole too large--there is not a lot of thread on the screw section of these hangers.
  4. Tighten the ring hanger down by hand just until snug--do not over tighten.
  5. Be careful not to put too much torque on the ring-to-base connection when tightening down.
  6. Do not hang anything weighing more than one pound from ring hangers.
