Quick Order Forms for Foamboard Hangers
Foamboard hangers are designed to hang posters or similar items that have been mounted on foamboard ("foamcore board") but are not framed. We offer two types of foamboard hangers that attach to the back side of the board and allow you to display the poster on your wall "as is." Used properly, foamboard hangers cause no damage to the front surface of the board, so if you decide to have the item framed in the future, no harm will have been done to the artwork by the foamboard hanger.
Foamboard plastic hangers have a pressure sensitive adhesive on one side. You simply peel off the adhesive release paper and apply the hangers to the back side of the foamboard. They can also be used on other types of smooth surface board (cardboard, poster board, illustration board, etc.), as long as the object to be hung weighs no more than than 1 lb. (one hanger) to 2 lbs. (two hangers). Foamboard metal hangers attach to the foamboard by means of sharp, angled metal prongs that are pushed through the foamboard face paper on the back side and into the Styrofoam core. They can be used on any type of paper-faced board that is thick enough to prevent the hanger prongs from penetrating through to the front surface (3/16" minimum) and weighs no more than than 1 lb. (one hanger) to 2 lbs. (two hangers).
