Quick Order Forms for Picture Frame Hangers
This category contains the basic picture frame hangers used to attach picture wire to the back of small to moderate size wood and metal frames. The best hanger to use for a particular picture will depend primarily on the size and weight of the picture. For wood frames, other factors to consider include the width and depth of the frame moulding and the type of wood (hard or soft) used to make the frame. Metal frames require hangers specifically designed for metal moulding. Metal frame hangers cannot be used on wood frames or vice-versa.
Typically you will need two hangers per picture. The hangers are attached to the side rails of the frame on the back side, approximately one-third of the way down from the top edge of the picture. For basic hook & wire picture hanging, you will also need Picture Wire and Picture Hooks to complete the hanging job. As with picture hangers, picture wire and picture hooks should be of a size appropriate to the size and weight of the pictures you will be hanging.
